LD Multiple Cutting Formats Plus HUGE SUPER BUNDLE offer!!

It's HERE! Lettering Delights cut files in SVG, AI, DXF, EPS, PDF, GSD are here and there is even a crazy 50 set bundle deal too!

Lettering Delights has launched their Cut It files and they come in .svg, .ai, .dxf, .eps, .gsd, and .pdf!

Cut It files are designed specifically with cutting machines in mind. Each Cut It set includes several different file formats (ai, dxf, eps, gsd, jpg, pdf and svg). Users of cutters like the Silhouette no longer need to convert the LD SVGs in Inkscape. You can now use the LD files in .dxf or .gsd format in the Silhouette Studio program!

To introduce this new product, LD is offering their new CUT ITS SIMPLE SHAPE SUPER BUNDLE of 50 sets for one low price of $49! Did I mention that each set has 15 images or more and the regular retail price for the bundle is $150?? That's a saving of over $100 right there!

Lettering Delights like to call this introductory bundle "simple shapes" but the only thing that is simple about these shapes is that they are single-layer, and NOT because they are basic geometric shapes like circle and squares. In fact most of these shapes are hardly simple!

There are so many sets in the bundle that I can't show them all to you in this post but I will highlight a couple here. To see the rest of the bundle, click here or on the following pictures.

I am so glad that Lettering Delights has chosen this time of year to release these single-layer cut files. I am so busy with the kids in the Summer that I'm not sure I have time to deal with multi-layer files. Now with these ONE-LAYER files, I can create without spending time piecing multiple layers. Because each image has only one layer, I also don't need to waste time looking for different papers to cut out multiple layers with. All it takes is one piece of cardstock and I am done cutting one "simple shape". I make cards and I love how easy it is to use these cuts but if you are into home decor, these files will be perfect for any vinyl project. They will also be great for glass etching, t-shirt stenciling or even with heat transfer vinyl for your t-shirts.

$49 for 50 sets! That's a deal that is even hotter than the Dollar Days sale and if you have a 25% off coupon, you may even be able to use that to bring the price even lower! Hurry up and click HERE or the image below to grab your Super Bundle NOW!

Summer SVG ShinDig Blog Hop! (plus GIVEAWAY!)

School's Out and Summer's In! Let's celebrate sunny days with something special. Let's go on a Summer SVG ShinDig Blog Hop!

First, let me say a big THANK YOU to Belinda Brown for inviting me to this hop. There is so much talent in this group that I am really flattered that they are letting me in. If you have arrived here from the very talented Jessica, you are on the right track. If you would like to start from the beginning, just go to Belinda's Bee's Hive of Drama and start hopping until you get back here. In case you get lost along the way, just come back and continue from this list:

Today's project is a series of 3 cards with one sentiment. The idea came about when I was looking at the Lettering Delight's Backyard Fun SVG set

See that little ant on the bottom left corner? When I was preparing for my Beach Party feature, I really wanted to add that ant in the scene but it didn't happen. I was chuckling at the idea of having it walk on the grill and feeling really hot. Something like that:

Mr. Ant was supposed to be sweating and since I can't draw, you are just going to have to imagine this little ant sweating little beads of sweat as it tries not to land inside the grill. I guess that'll be really hot! lol.

I had so much fun with the ant I couldn't stop with the one card so I made another. This time our friend is feeling the heat of the Summer Sun. If the temperature this year is going to be as high as what we had in WA last year, that ant wouldn't be the only crying "That's Hot!". I'll be joining him!

Good things come in threes so I had to go on and make one more card. Mr. Ant is supposed to be on this last card as well but I took him out at the last minute. He was supposed to be admiring the bikinis. (Now you know why I took him out? Naughty, naughty, naughty Ant!) Anyway I made two more bikinis instead. By the way, the bikinis as well as the sun (from the 2nd card) are from the Lettering Delights Soak Up the Sun SVG set.

What do you think of the bikinis on the hangers? Are they cute or what?! I love putting together the bikinis and making those hangers. Of course, I had to figure out a way to hang those hangers up so I made that stand too. It's amazing what you can do with food picks. :-)

So there you go. 3 cards, 1 sentiment. All cut with the Silhouette SD cutter and Make-the-Cut program. Totally perfect for the summer.

And now onto my favorite part of any blog hop. It's......Blog Candy Time!!!

I'm giving away something super cute today. It's one of my favorite tools and I use it all the time. I'm giving away a.....

SIZZIX TEXTURE BOUTIQUE EMBOSSING MACHINE

School's Out! (plus giveaway)

Welcome to our playground

Ack! School's out and I'm in a panic. Life used to be so much simpler when the kids were little. Nowadays they seem to demand attention all the time.  I am scrambling to keep the kids occupied when they are home for the summer.

"I'm bored."

"There's nothing to do."

Oh...I can just hear the whining now. Or in the case of my 5 year old, she'll just give me a "Bad Mommy" ticket when she feels like she isn't getting enough attention. Ack!

"Bad Mommy" ticket. :-(

My girls love to craft. In fact, I share a craft room with them. Once upon a time, it looked like this:

This picture was taken before I started blogging. I need to get it back to this shape. :P

Ever since I started blogging, the room started to look less and less like the picture above. I have a lot of crafty projects in mind that I want to do with the kids and a messy craft room doesn't sound like a good way to start. So I started cleaning it out the other day.

The only spot that still looks the same as the day we set up the room.

Somehow the more things I clear out, the more there is to clear?!

Our table has chicken feet!

I'm finding all kinds of rubber stamps and embellishment that I forgot I have and why the heck do I still have all these cartridges? Guess what will be going on to ebay soon?

Boo...my wall of shame.
"Look Mom! Your cartridge tower is taller than me!"

I've always known that those cartridge boxes take up a ton of room but wow....taking that tower out actually allowed for more light. As soon as the last box was taken out, the sun shone in as though it was a sign of a new beginning or something. It was pretty cool...

Clearing out the craft room was fun especially when I uncovered a stack of magazines that I thought was lost forever. It was cool to find the magazines in which my work had been published. Not to mention it was quite an ego boost too!

The twins' painted these in art class when they were in Kindergarten.
So anyway, I am STILL in process of cleaning out the room but I did find an extra something-something. I'm giving it away at the end of this post so read on.....  ;-)
---

Now, about other non-craft-room-cleanup stuff.....

Did anyone attend last night's MTC webinar? I watched it from my car while waiting for my girls to finish their piano lessons and I had to hold back from shouting with joy inside the vehicle. How cool was that demo of v3.3 that Andy did? The new trace feature rocks! I can't wait to alpha-trace all those Lettering Delights PNGs without adjusting threshold like crazy. Oh, and in v3.3, when we import Lettering Delights SVGs, all the colors will be automatically imported and the layers separated. Yay!

Speaking of Lettering Delights, they posted their Tuesday deal on Facebook yesterday and for this week , you can get the two Hawaiian Fonts bundle for $2! That's like $1 each except that you have to buy both to get that price. Of course, if you have a 25% coupon, you can bring the price down even lower.Just click here or the image below to get your fonts.

By the way, don't forget that LD will be offering that awesome multiple cutting format bundle at the end of the week. Over 780 images for $49! If you have not seen the previews for the bundle, just click here to see them.

The kids may be out on summer break but that does not mean that I am going to stop posting. I will spending more time with my family and the number of posts per week will be lesser than usual, BUT I will still be keeping you up to date with the LD deals. If you do not want to miss out on any of the fun stuff, do make sure that you Follow this blog or Like the Facebook page. You may also want to subscribe to the newsletter. Just enter your email address on the right column and you will be kept up-to-date with my posts.

I'm going to be on an SVG Blog Hop this weekend with a super-talented group of ladies! There'll be lots of inspiration and blog candy so don't forget to come back and hop with us this weekend.

And now for today's random "I-Found-This-In-My-Craft-Room" giveaway, just follow this blog and leave a comment to win this:

I actually found two of these Martha Stewart puppet kits while cleaning out my craft room. The kit is recommended or age 4 and over and you can make 4 cat/dogs puppets with it (I know the package shows only 3 animals but the bottom says that the kit includes 4 puppets).  I am giving one kit away on Facebook and one over here on the blog. You can enter in both if you like so that you have two chances to win this. Just click here to go to the Facebook page. The Facebook giveaway will end today (Wed) when I announce the winner.

This giveaway (on the blog) will end on Sunday, Jun 26 at 11;59pm PST and the winner will be drawn by Random.org and announced on Monday.

Good luck!
