Hanging with My Peeps Blog Hop plus GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone! Thanks for joining me on the Hangin' with My Peeps blog hop hosted by Amanda of Amanda Crafts and More.

If you have reached this page from Rosy's Sweet Delights Paper and More, you are on the right track. If not, and you would like to start from the beginning, just go to Amanda's page and hop along until you get back here. In case you get lost along the way, this is the list of participating blogs:

That's ME!--- Jin @ http://underacherrytree.blogspot.com/ --- That's ME!

For today's project, I made this:

I had a blast with Lettering Delights' Photobooth SVGs! It was so hard to hold back my giggles as I was working on this piece. All the cuts are made with my Silhouette SD electronic cutter and everything except the label and letters were cut out of vinyl.

Of course I couldn't have done this without Make-the-Cut either. Everything was cut and printed through the print driver in Make-the-Cut.

Lettering Delights has the perfect line of products for this hop! I used the Peep SVG for the label and the Lettering Delights Peep Paper Pack (love, love, LOVE this!) for the papers.

By the way, the paper pack is still only $1 during Dollar Days. It's well worth the 1 buck! I used LD Funky Chunky for the letters. Fonts are also only $1!

Now please allow me to introduce you to Princess Peep, Monsieur Peep, Pirate Peep, and ....

 ... the Peep Vampire!

Then we have Superhero Peep...

...and the Peep Witch, Santa Peep, and Peep Smartypants!

Here are My Peeps altogether:

These are what I used to dress up My Peeps:

Crown: Crowns SVG
Mustache, Santa's Beard: Mustache Mania SVG
Vampire Fangs: Lip Smackers SVG
Pirate Hat, Santa Hat, Graduation Cap: Holiday Hats SVG
Label: Peep SVG

I hope you had fun looking at my project. Now, let's move on to today's giveaway.

The Queen's Royal Court Design Team: PSA Essentials

***** If you are looking for Alex's Gotta have Friends Blog Hop, please click here *****

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*** Today's Blog Hop is sponsored by PSA Essentials ***

Hi Everyone, I am super excited to have you join us on another blog hop by The Queen's Royal Court Design Team. This blog hop is sponsored by PSA Essentials who is also joining us on our hop today. Once again, here are the Queen's Royal Court Design Team members:
Theresa

If you have arrived at this blog from Jenny's Crazy About Cricut Blog, you are on the right track. If not, just click here to start the hop from Theresa's The Scrapbooking Queen blog and keep hopping until you're back here. If you should lose your way on the hop, just come back and refer back to the list above to get back on track.

Have you heard about PSA Essentials' Personalized Stamps and their Peel and Stick Packs? I've heard good things about them but I wasn't really sure what it was all about until I received this from our generous sponsor:

I opened up the plastic baggies and realized that basically the PSA Essentials' stamp is a self-inking personalized stamp with an interchangeable center! Because the ring and the center can be separated, it can interchange with the Peel and Stick Packs

So for example, I can stamp it so that my name is in the center or...

....I can switch the center out with a stamp from their Peel and Stick Pack to make a brand new stamp!

How cool is that?

The best part about the Peel and Stick stamps is that I can use them with the personalized stamps or I can use them on their own. Just slap one onto an acrylic block and use them like any other clear stamps. And that is exactly what I did with my Peel and Stick stamps.

The Peel and Stick stamps come in several designs but my absolute favorite line has go to be the SMIRK Collection. I couldn't have been more excited when I received the Smirk-Coffee Confidants pack. Smirk girls + Coffee, seriously? This pack was made for me! These stamps are so super cute. My 5 year old thinks that the girls should have eyes but I love the images just the way they are.

I think that the stamped image is the perfect size too. Look, the girls fit perfectly in their Cadillac, so they must be the perfect size right? LOL!

For this card, I used the Lettering Delights' California Love graphic set (Cadillac), the Big Apple graphic set (storefront), and the New York SVGs set (storefront). I used Make-the-Cut to cut all the layers out by using the print-and-cut technique.

All the layers were adhered to the card with foam tape for added dimensions.

The decorative edge on the black cardstock was made by using a border punch and the yellow label was also from a punch. The "Fabulous Friends" stamp comes from the same Smirk-Coffee Confidant stamp set.

PSA Essentials is giving everyone a chance to win a Grand Prize that includes the following:

        1 Custom Stamp
        3 Peel & Stick packs
        2 inks
        1 alignment tool

The total retail value of this prize is  $125.00

There are three opportunities to win this prize package, each action counts as an entry:
1.       "Follow" PSA Stamp Camp blog
2.       "Like" PSA on Facebook (Tell them that Jin sent you).
3.       Repost/tweet/Facebook the Blog Hop information to friends and followers

For this hop, I made....

Look! It's a seal telling the whale that it's a "Whaley good friend!" LOL!

I had so much fun making this card using Make-the-Cut and Lettering Delights' Eskimo Kisses and Seven Seas SVGs. The speech bubble is from Make-the-Cut's Basic Shapes (Callouts). If you don't already have these two sets in your SVG collection, you must get them especially when they are still on sale for $2 a set. TWO BUCKS! That's an insane price for a ton of fun!

The waves are layered and adhered with foam tape. I used my sticky-tape print-and-cut technique to add the sentiment. The fonts that I used are LDJ Noodge and LDJ Whale Tail

Easter Basket Blog Hop plus Giveaway!

Hi, Everyone! Welcome to the Easter Basket Blog Hop hosted by Joy of joyslife.com!

The following is the list of blogs who are participating on this hop. Did you come here from Melissa's Blog? If not, just click here to start from Joy's blog and keep hopping until you're back here. In case you get lost hopping, just come back here and refer back to the list below to get back on track.

I love Easter. As a matter of fact, I love any holiday that gives me a reason to make little treat baskets for the kids. So when I first saw Lettering Delights' Spring is Bliss SVG set, I totally squealed. See the last three files in the set? Those are baskets. Today I will show you the baskets that I made from using two of those files.

Using Make-the-Cut, I cut out the SVGs on Echo Park's Springtime Papers. The baskets were easily cut and assembled.

I wanted to add a little trim to the yellow basket so I used Lettering Delights' Scalloped Borders SVG and cut out a border with Make-the-Cut.

For added charm, I cut out the little flowers from the Peep SVG set and adhered the layers with foam tape before putting a flower into the basket.

This project is super easy to put together. You can also easily mix and match the papers for a different look or even use a ribbon to dress up the baskets.

I hope you've enjoyed this project. Now on to the blog candy!

For today's blog candy, I am giving away a set of my favorite tools. You may win...

The Cutter Bee Honey Bee Scissors
AND

The Queen's Royal Court Blog Hop: NIKKI SILVIS

Good Sunday morning, everyone! The Scrapbooking Queen and I have partnered with 8 super talented crafters to bring you The Queen's Royal Court Design Team. Together we will be showcasing some of the hottest brands on the paper-crafting scene. We're kicking off with our first sponsored blog hop today.

Welcome to

The Queen's Royal Court Blog Hop
featuring
NIKKI SILVIS's SCRAPBOOKER

Here are designers in the Queen's Royal Court:

Raven

If you have arrived at this blog from Jenny's Crazy About Cricut, you are on the right track. If not, just click here to start the hop from Theresa's The Scrapbooking Queen blog and keep hopping until you're back here. Check out all the fun things that you can do with Nikki Silvis products and put in your entry to win some of her gorgeous papers. There are ten of us on this hop which means that you have TEN chances to WIN! By the way, if you should lose your way on the hop, just come back here and refer back to the list above to get back on track.

We will be using Nikki Silvis' papers for our projects this week and this is my project for today:

The card measures 6" x 4.5" and all the printed papers are from the "My Friend Birdie" Collection. The kraft cardstock is from Recollections.

For the sentiment, I used Lettering Delights' LD Woodland font and cut out the letters at a height of 0.5" using Make-the-Cut. As the letters are relatively skinny, I cut them out on white contact paper  instead of cardstock. That way, I didn't even need to deal with gluing all the letters down. Can we say instant stickers? Yeah, Baby!

To transfer the letters from the mat to the paper, I used the trick that I mentioned in this post.

Putting this card together was super quick and super easy because all the patterns already co-ordinate. I didn't even need to dig through my giant mountain of papers for matching pieces. By the way, the decorative edge of the blue paper on the left was made with Martha Stewart's Cherish border punch.

Now let's check out the goodies that Nikki Silvis has sent me for the hop's giveaway:

Do they look yummy or what?! No need to drool because you just might be the ONE lucky winner to get them.

Here's how to win:

You must be a follower to enter in the giveaway. If you are not already a follower, just click on the "Follow" button on the right.

This hop is really special to me because we love books in our house. My kids are avid readers and I love to use my Cricut to write stories for them. Here are a few stories that I have written for my daughters:

By the way, in case you are wondering, Pan-Dee is my youngest daughter's lovey. :-)

For today's hop, I made a special little tab-style board book. The entire project was created with Make-the-Cut, my Cricut Expression machine, the Canon PIXMA MP250 Inkjet Printer and SVGs, Graphics, Fonts, and Papers by Lettering Delights. I do not use nor own a Cricut Imagine.

This book was inspired by my three daughters who are 8 years old (twins) and 5 years old (Baby Sister). The main image on the front cover was cut out with Make-the-Cut using the Print-and-Cut technique. All the pages are made strong with cardboard from cereal and cracker boxes. The book was put together with Zutter's Bind-it-all.

Here is our book of words to remember; words that Hubby and I tell our children so very often...

I hope that you enjoyed my book. This is the list of Lettering Delights products that I used:

Because no blog hops should go without a giveaway, I have blog candy too. Since Read Across America was started to celebrate the joy of reading, today's giveaway is special and is something that you can win for the little one in your life.
