Jin's Give-Away #5! Last one for the week!

How did the week fly by so quickly? It's Friday!

I'm not done with the re-org but it's coming together nicely. Even though at one point I felt this whole thing was a mission impossible, I'm glad I did it. I threw out so much stuff and I still have a few more boxes to bring to the school and to Goodwill! I can't wait till they're all out of the house.

This week you've shared a lot about how you craft but we have not touched on the subject of cleaning. Well, it's your lucky day because I have a cleaning tip for you today.  Well, sort of. Did you know that the spatula is not just a single use tool? That's right, I'm talking about that spatula we all use to remove our cut outs from the cutting mat.

Did you know that it is great for scrapping off rub-ons from hardwood floors? Just a gentle tug and the rub-ons come right off! Don't ask me how I know or why there is even rub-on on the floor. (Go ask my 6 year old. Grrr...)

I found even more paper in my stash that I have extras of, so I thought that we could do another round of paper give-away. How about I give away some 12" x 12" cardstock this time?

Jin's Give-Away #4 plus My trip to IKEA!

I went shopping yesterday. Well, you know, a craft room re-org isn't really one until a trip to IKEA. So I tell myself. If there is anything that I can use as an excuse to make a trek there, I'm on it! I wasn't looking for anything specific to buy but I had fun browsing through the furniture. There are so many possibilities!

Take a look at this. I could just shove all my crap inside, close the door and nobody would have any idea what's in there. Nice!

I'm not crazy about this table (too small!) but I love the color. I think my room could use a splash of orange. Yummy!

This chest of drawers has been calling my name for over a year now and even though I always pause to look at it, I can't think of a spot in the craftroom for it. Oh well, guess I'll have to pass it. Again.

In case anyone is wondering about the dimensions, I took a picture of the tag for you. That's right, I said I took it for YOU. I didn't take it for me. Nope not for me at all. I don't need this chest of drawers....I don't need this chest of drawers.....I don't need.....

By the way, the wide ALEX unit has two cousins. I actually bought this tall ALEX some months ago but I have not move it to the craftroom.

I didn't end up buying any furniture today but I couldn't leave the store empty-handed. Want to guess what I bought?

Ta-da! A $5.99 plastic bin on wheels! It fits 12"x12" cardstock nicely but the base is not flat. There are 4 bumps where the caster wheels are. I'm really liking that I can roll it around so I'm over-looking that unevenness.
