Jin's Give-Away #2 plus Last Day to get the Big Bang Bundle!

Thanks for playing along with me yesterday, everyone! It was fun to read about everyone's favorite crafting tool. I'm finally making some progress in my craft room re-org. I removed almost everything out of the room (again!) and found some things I forgot I bought. Seriously, when did I buy Tim Holtz's tissue tape dispenser and those rolls of tape? I really have to start buying only those supplies that I will actually use!

Before I show you today's give-away, let me just mention that today is the last day to get the 100-set (svg) Big Bang bundle for $100 or less with a coupon. If you have not seen this offer, click here to see why I think the Big Bang bundle is an amazing deal.

Now back to the give-away....

While emptying out the craft-room today, it was pretty obvious that I had gone overboard with the paper-buying. I'm running out of room to store my giant stack of 6"x6" paper pad and so today's give-away is for:

One Echo Park Springtime 6" x 6" paper pad
and
One Echo Park Be Mine 6" x 6" paper pad

Here's how to win:

Leave a comment here on the blog and tell me about your crafting space. Where do you craft? In your craft room or do you craft on the dining table like I used to (many years ago)?

The terms of the give-away are the same as yesterday:

If you are not a follower of this blog or its Facebook page, you may enter this giveaway once.

If you are a follower of this blog or its Facebook page, you may enter 2 times. Just post your comment 2 times and mention in your 2nd comment that you are a follower of either this blog or the UnderACherryTree Facebook page.

International readers, please note: Since I am giving away physical items, I will only be able to ship the prizes within the United States. If you win but do not have a U.S. address, I will email a $5 Lettering Delights gift certificate to you as your prize and will draw another name for the physical prize.

Entries to this week's give-aways will close on Sunday, March 4 at 11:59pm PST. All winners of this week's give-aways will be picked by Random.org and will be announced on Monday, March 5.

  4. I have a craft room....but it's very small. It's really more of a "storage room". I generally end up working on my projects in other parts of the house.

  12. You are motivating me to clean up my craft space. I am fortunate to have a whole room just for me and my crafts but it is a big mess. It also happens to be he place where I put everything that doesn't have a home to "clean up" the house. The craziness of the room has been stifling my creativity so I really need to get it cleaned up. Thanks for the motivation.

  17. My main crafting space is a sweet roll top desk, a file cabinet that fits 12x12 paper and a small closet. It's very tidy and convenient for those slow moving projects. I used to be in the dining room, to be honest when I craft I almost always end up in the dining room still :)

  18. I thought when my son got married I'd be able to use his room as a craft room. Didn't happen. Got used as storage instead. So I craft in the living room after plotting what I will do, getting out the correct supplies and then putting them away again. *sigh*. Someday....I'll have a proper craft room (under lock and key!)

  24. I love Echo Park paper, my crafting space is in my bedroom, my husband Has M.S. and spends most of his time in bed,or his wheel chair in the bedroom, and so to be with him, I craft there. I have 4 big bedrooms upstairs now that my sons are on their own, but I rather be with hubby, so my space is probably a little 4x8 foot space, tight to work in, but I manage:)

  28. I turned our dining room into my crafting space. But to be fair, our playroom above the garage was turned into a "man cave", pool table, big screen tv, surround sound, and the list goes on. In my craft space, one corner is reserved for stained glass projects that I still dabble with a little....the rest is all for card making and projects.

  47. My craft room was the baby nursery for the family we bought our house from. It is the sunniest room in the whole house and I love that! I have full use of the closet and use the whole thing. When we moved my husband was able to take his office furniture, so all of that became mine! I have 2 oak book cases, 2 oak lateral file cabinets set side by side to form an "entertainment center" which I store paper, albums, etc. Printer and computer on the file cabinets. Another book case to store stamp sets and stamping supplies. A small 3 x 4 foot kitchen table serves as my work space. Even with all that storage, I still run out of room! I would find room for some Echo Park paper though!!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I have a dedicated craft room too. It's called the Dining Room. Although technically, can it be called a Dining Room if the only things in there are craft supplies? (and a toy box? and a train table? and a foosball table? and more Webkinz than you can shake a stick at? I swear those things multiply in the night.) Ok. Maybe I don't really have a Dining Room. Or a craft room for that matter. But I DO have a craft desk. Sadly, there's no room on the desk to actually craft but that's what kitchen tables are for, right?

Thanks for the giveaway chance, Jin. That's very generous of you!

I do a lot of my hand cutting in the evening sitting in front of the TV (dh hates it when I am hidden away in my little "hole"). lol But really I do have a tiny craft space where I do my stamping and mixed media work. But for die cutting I usually use the dining room table as I have more room to spread out.

It's where I make paper and have a great set up so Mom, SIL, and I can all crop together during the winter (they are snowbirds). When DH and I were looking for a house, our job prevented us from looking together during daylight hours, so DH finally suggested I go find my craftroom, and hopefully it will have a kitchen. LOL! The joke is that it did not have a kitchen. We had to gut the house and rebuild, but the craft room is great!

  86. Hello, Ms. Jin.

I used to do my crafting on the floor of a very small bedroom. Since we moved, I have been crafting on a fold-able table I found at a hardware store. I have a wardrobe where I stash my crafting materials/tools. It will take a little more waiting to have my own room, with my dream craft space.

  88. Hey Jin, thanks for another opportunity! Let's see, I have a huge upstairs room for crafting. It is split into 4 sections. One section is my office for my business (virtual administrative business); this is the smallest section because I hate having to work instead of craft. Next section is my cutting area, for all of my die cut machines and some paper (kind of falls over into my office), next section is cutting area for my sewing. Then is the paper-crafting table/area with tools, supplies, and lots and lots more paper; and last, but not least, is area where all my sewing machines and materials are kept. Table tops are all door blanks. I am always looking for storage ideas. Thanks again for the opportunity and the ever present inspiration!

  111. Well in our condo back in San Diego I had a craft room all to myself, and a giant wonderful desk that my best friend helped me build from scratch. But now that we're in a one bedroom apartment in San Francisco I have a craft "nook" instead. It fits a little desk and my paper tower. I also use half of our closet for storage. But I am glad I am not having to use the dining room (especially since we don't have one, or even room for a table)!

  113. I craft in my bedroom. I have a little corner in my bedroom. Hoping to have my own craftroom in the near future. More room, more craft items, hehe :D

  114. I am fortunate enough to have my own scrap space or nook or crevice or whatever you'd call it! LOL It's not a lot, but it is a dedicated space. :-) It's actually a corner of my storage room but we moved the storage shelves back creating a small rectangular space that we then added shelving and a workspace too. Nothing fancy but I love that I can leave my projects out if I don't finish them and close the door. No one knows or cares if it's messy but me! LOL. I'm loving that Be mine stack and would love it if you would pick me! Thanks for the chance to win. I enjoy all your crafty ideas. :-)

  116. I craft in two places. On my dining room table by my computer and Cameo. Also, I craft downstairs at a desk in my basement. I would love to have one space where everything can be but I guess the excercise going back and forth is probably good. :)

  119. I scrapbook in my livingroom. It's a perfect space to scrap because it's a little "nitch" in the room that is perfect for the tables!

  121. My craft room is our 3rd bedroom. Its a great space where I have my computer, zing and sewing machine. Luckily being retired, I still have another bedroom for visitors!!. I live in New Zealand so will really like to win a Lettering Delights Voucher. Although those paper pads looked lovely.

  126. Love your web site, must go to FB as well. I share my craft space with the washer and dryer but it's a large space fully utilized with all my crafting supplies. My front windows look out on the open space across the street while I'm working at my counter height table. The best part is I can leave a mess and no one else has to see it!

  135. I craft in my craft room for now. That room will soon be taken by a crying little munchkin who will steal my heart once she comes into this world. Once the baby is in there I will be sharing a room with my husband. He's not happy that I will be encroaching on his game room aka the man cave but I don't have many other options. Maybe I'll just steal half the garage from him since he's made it law that garages are not made to park cars in. LOL.

    I follow your blog.

  137. I craft in the corner of our livingroom. It works well because I can craft, talk with my family, and watch tv all from my desk. The only thing my family does not like for me to use is my Cricut while their shows are on. Apparently it makes too much noise.

  151. Hi Jin!
I craft where ever i can!! I have 5 young children, so it's usually during the day, when most are at school, at the dining room table. A craft room is on the wish list :)

  152. Hi Jin! I do my crafting in my craftroom/spareroom. I would love to move the bed out so I would have more room, but it always nice to have it when we have family staying with us. :)

  154. Love the paper stacks!! Thanks so much for the chance to win! I have an office/craftroom that is very small & it tends to be my catch-all room as well so not really much space in there to craft not to mention my desk is usually cluttered with business paperwork (we own the only taxi/medical transport service in our small town). So when I craft I usually have to take all the supplies I need to the kitchen table or coffee table. One of these days (years, lol) I hope to have a dedicated craft space :-)

  156. Funny you should ask...I just posted a pic of my new craft table. I have what used to be a small nursery upstairs and my craft cave...could live there if people did not want to see my face occasionally. I have my cutting machines hooked up to my main desktop downstairs so that I can see the light of day too LOL!

  173. Before my recent move, I used to have a space upstairs in the hallway to craft. We don't have a big house, so that hallway was a small office/crafting area w/out a door.=) Gotta be creative right? It just didn't look right not having anything in that large empty space.=P

    ReplyDelete
  174. Well.. kinda sad for me... I gave up my craft room so my son could have his own bedroom. Prior to this my boys shared a bedroom and honestly they just needed to be split up... some people will know what I mean. But because of this, I had to move my "crafting area" to my bedroom.

  176. That paper is so pretty! I actually have my crafting stuff spread between 2 rooms. I have a craft room that is fairly small. I have a few too many hobbies, so that room houses my sewing machines, fabric, floral supplies and a few of my papercrafting supplies. Then the rest is in my computer room since I use the computer to cut with my Cricut E. All my papers, vinyl and cricut supplies are in the computer room.

  181. Well I don't know where my 1st message went to so I will add it again.

I have turned our downstairs family room in to my craft room for now. I also have a container with my current project that I am working on so I can take it with me and work on it while I am waiting for my kids at their various activities that way I don't waste any precious time.

  182. I craft at my computer desk! I have about two feet of clear space here to work on. Bad! I have a huge table set up to work on in the basement living room, but I can't get my chair to it. I have to lift it over the baby gate, so I only do that for big projects.
