So you have just bought the Gazelle cutter to use with Make-the-Cut and you do not want to use Funtime (the software that comes with the cutter) or have anything to do with the dongle that came with it. Do you know that you can use Make-the-Cut to cut with the Gazelle without installing Funtime at all?
I bought the Gazelle with the sole intention of using it with Make-the-Cut. This is what I did in order to use the Gazelle with Make-the-Cut without installing Funtime:

Note: I am using Windows 7 with Make-the-Cut v.3.2.1

Start Make-the-Cut, go to the top menu bar and select Help> Advanced> Download and Install CUTOK Drivers.
Click Install.
If your Gazelle is plugged into the computer, unplug it. Go back to MTC, click OK.
Click Yes in the next dialog box to continue with the driver installation.
When the Windows Security box pops up next, click on "Install this driver software anyway" to continue. (Note: The Gazelle driver is not signed by BossKut. That is why this red dialog shows up. Since you started this from MTC, it is safe).
At this point the driver should download and install. Following the instructions on the next dialog box, plug in the Gazelle to your computer and turn it ON so that the driver installation can complete.
As soon as the USB cable is plugged into the computer, this balloon will show up on the monitor.
Once the installation is completed, another balloon will pop up (I didn't managed to take a screenshot of that) with a notice and when you click on that balloon, you will see this:
You don't have to do this step but if you are curious and want to make sure that the driver is indeed installed, just click on the Window button and go to Printers and Devices. The CUTOK DC330 should show up under the Printers and Faxes label.
You are now ready to cut to the Gazelle with Make-the-Cut.

Here are a few things to note before you start cutting:
Unlike cutting to the Cricut, the orientation of the virtual mat for the Gazelle is Portrait. By changing the default Landscape orientation, you will see the virtual mat change its position so that the arrow on the mat is facing up instead of facing left.
Also, unlike the Cricut where the origin of the cutter is at the top left corner, the origin of the Gazelle is at the lower right corner. In other words, the Gazelle starts cutting/takes reference from the lower right corner of the mat.

By the way, unlike the Cricut, the Gazelle does not automatically turn off after it has not been used for a while. Enjoy the video! :-)
