Okay, I'll admit it. Even though I love all the new Lettering Delight's SVG sets, their Weather Girl has got to be my favorite set to date. I adore that set! I love the weather wheel and I love the girls (and boys from Weather Boy) images but if I have to pick a favorite, it will probably be the Umbrella Girl or the RainCoat Girl. In fact, I like the Umbrella Girl so much, I was inspired to come up with the sentiment that I used for today's card. Why say "Thinking of You" when you can say "You're always on my mind"? ;-)
I love that LD Buttercream font that I used for the printed sentiment. If you had missed my tutorial on how to print text with Make-the-Cut, you can read all about it by clicking here.
Super cute card and love your sentiment. TFS
ReplyDeleteIs that MS Drippy Goo punch on the bottom? SO cute! I never would have thought of that, but it looks just perfect! Not like "drippy goo" but like good old rain! LOVE it! (and maybe you like that weather girl so much because you are so used to the rain! LOL)
ReplyDeleteTell me more about the background, tho. Is it printed, or paper pieced? (I mean, the clouds, and the raindrops?)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tabitha and jayma15! :-)
ReplyDelete@jayma15 I did use the MS Drippy Goo punch! :-D I'm glad that you "get" that it's like the rain. Don't you love that background paper? It's from the DCWV Flower Shower stack. You can definitely make your own background with paper piecing but I thought that the paper works perfectly for this card. :-)
I agree the drippy goo punch is perfect for this! Love the sentiment too.
ReplyDeletePerfect card!!!
ReplyDeleteSuper Cute Card. I agree the drippy goo is perfect.
ReplyDeleteMe TOO! I LOVE the weather girl svg's they are just darling. I am working on a project with them now and my weather girls look nothing like your weather girls. This is a must have svg set.
What an adorable card.....
ReplyDeleteLOVE this!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love this set too. The weather girl looks so much like my niece Angela when she was young :O)
