Christel, Jin has an EXCELLENT tutorial on how to do this. She ROCKS.
ReplyDeleteJin, Awsome Owl. Now if we could just find printable vinyl that ISN'T from Provo Craft then we're in business.
Love it! Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteLovely Jin... Did you cut within the print out using your method shared previously? GOT TO TRY THAT!!!!! Lots of sites have NOT PC printable vinyl too - do a google search! Thanks! Ruth Gillis

Lol you're too funny! This came out great! :)
ReplyDeleteNow that's the way I like to save money!!! I need a new printer, and that looks like it'll do just fine!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, I am thrilled at how it turned out. Ever since I posted that picture of my child with that super-imposed owl, the other two kids have been whining that they too want an owl on their heads. Now I've done away with that drama. Whoo Hoo! :-D
ReplyDeleteTo cut the owl out, I first cut four 0.5"x0.5" squares with MTC to use as registration marks to position my printed vinyl. When the four squares have cut out, WITHOUT UNLOADING THE MAT I position the printed vinyl using that four squares as a guide. I hit CUT and the owl is born. ;-)
That is remarkable! You should have posted this earlier, like last month before my kids bought me the Imagine, lol! That is son neat! TFS
