School started two weeks ago and we are well into the third week of distance learning. Everyone has claimed a spot in the house for their Zoom sessions- the bedroom, the study, and the kitchen. Even Hubby has taken over the basement to use as his home office. I am so thankful to have a craft room to hang out in since I can't be in the kitchen during school hours anymore. So of course this means that I'm surrounded by crafty things, which means that I just have to get crafting! Yay! 😁

On the first day of school I made the kids walk to school and back to simulate that going-to-school feeling before their online classes start. Haha!😄

When LD released their Good Notes collection recently, my immediate thought was to use them to make something for the kids.  Stickers were an obvious choice especially since I really do love making them. I also realized that the designs from the Cut Set (SVG) can be made into cards easily.

For the first card, I decided to use the shark image. Every element that I needed to make a card is already there in the design- the subject, the shadow layer, and even the sentiment! All that I had to do was to cut and assemble everything together and slap it onto a card base. Easy peasy!

Looking at the rest of the images in the collection, I realized that I could do the same thing with most of them. I decided that I would use the the one with the "YOU DID IT!" sentiment and another with "BRAVO!".

Originally I made these cards with the kids in mind but now that I think about it, the teachers could probably use some encouragement too. We are all trying to get used to this whole online learning thing and I cannot imagine what the teachers are going through. I think they definitely deserve a card or two or a thousand!

So what do you think? I think they're kind of cute but are they too kiddie-ish for the teachers? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Don't think these are too kiddie-ish. These look great for teachers too!

You always make such cute stickers. I really need to get some sticker paper and give it a try with my cameo.
