I am still away on vacation (in Singapore!) but I'm so excited that Silhouette has finally released the Cameo 3 machine that I had previously mentioned!
The Silhouette Store does not seem to have any in stock at the time of this post but you can pre-order it from HERE.
You can also find different bundle combinations HERE.
These are the technical specs for the Cameo 3:
I love my Cameo and even though I was thrilled with the Cameo 2, it was basically the Cameo in a different shell. The new Cameo 3 looks like a real update to the Cameo and I cannot wait to test it. I will definitely be ordering one as soon as I get back home to Seattle.
What do you think of the new machine? Will you be getting one too?
Let me know in the comments below.
I'm with you Jin...I wasn't interested in getting the Cameo 2 as there wasn't much difference but I am definitely going to buy the Cameo 3 as soon as they are available here in the UK.
ReplyDeleteThere are some new features in the Cameo 3 that I'd really like to play with. That self-adjusting blade intrigues me and I'm curious about the 2mm deep cut. Do you know when the Cameo 3 will be available in the UK?
DeleteSame here! When the Cameo 3 came out I only thought "What a visual decline and no innovations." But now? Two blades for double speed and self-adjusting blades and so easy to change them! I am looking forward to your review! It would be a blast if the Cameo 3 could live up to the expectations!
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of a favor I wanted to ask you for: Would it please be possible for you to make a report about your two plotters? for which particular tasks do you use either the Cameo or the ScanNCut2? How satisfied are you with the ScanNCut? Would you recommend it for people who would buy it primarily for cutting out stamps and drawings? This would be a great help since I never buy the fitting die cuts because there is this little voice in my mind telling me to safe the money for the ScanNCut. In the long term it would be much cheaper to buy this machine then the die cuts...if the ScanNCut is good at this. I remember your first preview and the initial issues with it.
Thank you for wonderful website- I am reading it since years!
Best wishes
Franziska
I am sure that with the new Cameo 3 you will have to use their updated software. I still have avoided updating and stayed with the legacy version.
ReplyDeleteI want to see a physical demo. I'm curious about the noise. A lot of the crafting I do is very late at night or very early in the morning. I have to make sure I use my Cameo during regular waking hours. I don't want to wake the kids. I can use my Cricut Explore anytime. My current Cameo, although noisy, cuts perfectly fine. The new machine looks promising though, it appears that they replaced and redesigned the entire machine. Anyone get their hands on one yet?? :)
