Friday Freebies {plus new Taco 'bout It, Fly Away Home}
It's a brand new month and there are a lot of LD news to share today.
Let's start with the latest addition to their store. Check out the new Taco 'Bout It. The collection is released just in time for Cinco De Mayo!
LD also has a new "Earn it Free" collection. If you spend $10 between May 1 and May 31, you will get Fly Away Home added to your LD library at no additional cost! Click HERE for the full details.
I mentioned last week that LD is revamping their site and once they launch the new page, they'll also be giving away a whole bunch of files. You will need to have an LD account in order to get the freebies. If you do not have an LD account, click HERE to go to the LD site and sign up for one. Just click on "Create an Account" on the top right corner of the page.
While they are preparing to launch the new page, LD is promoting an incredible offer. Click HERE to find out more about their Subscription Pre-Sale.
By the way, there is also a new LD coupon available. Use the code MayFlowers to take 10% off on the LD site.
Here's your Friday Freebie:
Click HERE or the image above to go to the LD site. Add the Fly Away Home -Lovely Lady Book (printable) to your cart and checkout. You pay $0.00! The link to the download will show up after the "transaction" is completed.
At the time of this post, the bonus freebies for April are still available. Click HERE to get them before they are replaced by the bonus for May.
Silhouette Studio users, don't forget to grab your weekly freebie from the Silhouette Design Store.

Jin,
ReplyDeleteI'm a little confused about the new LD site. Will I need to download quickly everything that is in my library right now? The way they worded something made me think I would lose all of my items if I didn't.
Thanks in advance
There's no need to download everything now. Your library will be transferred to the new site and you will still be able to access it there.
DeleteJust to clarify, your current library will remain intact. Only the files that you get from the subscription must be downloaded right away because those will not be added to your library. Does that make sense?
DeleteThanks so much for clearing that up :). If I'm understanding correctly, the sets that come out after the new site is up will have to be purchased separately from any subscription?
DeleteJin, I looked at the LD site and didn't get the subscription deal. Are they saying that for 6 months you can download every file, under your subscription type, for no additional cost? So for $49.95 I would be able to download every cuttable file LD has during that time?
ReplyDeleteThat's basically correct but there is a daily $10 limit that will not rollover. In other words, you must remember to do the download everyday. Also, you can only access those files that were released before the new site was launched. So for example, the Taco 'bout It sets that were just released will be included but any sets released after the launch of the new site will not. Designs by their guest designers (e.g. Nancy Kubo, Patricia Zapata, etc.) are excluded.
DeleteThank you for all the clarification!!

ReplyDeleteHi Jin, yes, please clarify.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I read, it appears you have access to everything (based on which subscription you get), BUT you can only download $10 per day and you MUST download them immediately because these "subscription" files will not be stored in our librararies. Our existing libraries should remain intact.
Is that correct?
That is correct. The files that you get from the subscription must be downloaded right away because those will not be added to your library.
DeleteI am confused too. I hope Mandy is correct and we don't lose our library files. Jin, please can you explain more about the download part, thanks
ReplyDeleteYou will not lose your current library. It is only the files that you get from the subscription that must be downloaded right away because those will not be added to your library.
DeleteHow cute these are Jin! I love your projects
