Special project feature from Nicole Marie Flores

"This silhouette has help me so Much!!
I thought I lost myself in my kids and my husband .
But this machine has brought me out and made me feel like me again.
Because it's something I can do for myself!!"
~ Nicole Marie Flores

Every once in a while I come across a project that tugs at my heartstrings and tonight I found Nicole's.

She says,

"I know this isn't much but I decorated my cameo!!! It's not much but I traced my dad's handwriting and one of the letters he wrote to me!!! I'm so excited and emotional that I actually did this . He's been gone for 5 years tomorrow . He was my world and doing this just makes me feel better."

Nicole has just got her Cameo in November and was inspired to trace her dad's handwriting after she read about someone tracing their kid's drawing.

"My dad was a a teacher and coach for 24 years and on his toughest day I would tell him to go back to school to be a principle or something else he would say if I could make a difference in one students life every year I teach then I have done my job. He was a father figure to so many people and always told me Never to give up. Thank you for letting me share a little bit ."

She used her Cameo to cut out the letters on red vinyl.

"I traced it from this photo and increased the threshold on it and I had some lines and dots but I deleted it and increased the size because he wrote so small n cut it out on red vinyl."

I love Nicole's project so much! What a beautiful way to preserve the memory of someone you loved! Thank you for allowing me to share your story, Nicole. May your Dad's words of encouragement to you continue to impact others through your project. ♥
