Surprise!!! I made a freebie for you!
I hope that you like Pac-Man because today's free file is a Pac-Man Ghost-inspired card with a pop-up sentiment!
The card front is intended to be cut out of different colored cardstock and adhered together for a layered look. On the other hand, the inside of the card was designed for print-and-cut.
After you have downloaded the freebie, please UNZIP the file to find two .studio files.
You do not need the Designer Edition to use these files. You can use today's download with the free Silhouette Studio software that came with your Silhouette machine.
This is how the file for the card front looks like when it is opened in Silhouette Studio:

I have included the "Ghosts" in 4 colors. Just pick one and delete away (or move outside of the virtual mat) the other cards that you don't want to make.
Please click on the image to see an enlarged picture. |
UNGROUP the image and separate the layers before cutting them out with your cutter.
Please click on the image to see an enlarged picture. |
This is how the file for the inside layer looks like when opened in Silhouette Studio:
Please click on the image to see an enlarged picture. |
After you have print-and-cut it out, please follow the picture below to fold it.

To complete the card, just center the inside layer to the card base and adhere together.
I realize that unlike the other free files on my blog, today's download is available only in the .studio format. I apologize for not including the .svg and .mtc files. I usually use Make-the-Cut for designing cutting files and Silhouette Studio for my print-and-cut projects. As this card was originally intended to be print-and-cut, I started putting the design together in Silhouette Studio. However, when I was test-cutting, it became obvious that printing the card front was a waste of (printer) ink so I decided to keep it as a layered card instead. Unfortunately, Silhouette Studio only allows me to save the files in the .studio format and hence I am only able to offer the .studio files today.
To get your freebie*, just click HERE to go to my Skydrive and double-click on the file to start the download.
Enjoy!
*for personal use only.
