Butterfly from LD's Butterflies and Blossoms |
It's Spring Break! The weather is wet and icky but I am hoping for drier days. I want to go outside to play!
I can't believe that there are less than 40 days of school left. It feels like it was only yesterday that I was whining about being alone at home and I even made a card for the occasion! (Click here to see the card). How is it possible that the school year is almost over? Looking back, we have done quite a bit this year and the girls have learned so much! Besides the usual curriculum, they have been excited to participate in many after-school programs. The twins also recently participated in the Science Fair. Twin A did an experiment with melting crayons while Twin B grew rock candy.
Twin A's project was inspired by the popular melted crayons art and while Twin B didn't actually send in a report for the fair, she had a blast doing her candy experiment and watching the crystal grow. If you have not made rock candy before, just click HERE for the instructions.
Well, that's enough chatter about the kiddies for now. Let's talk LD, shall we?
The offer on the 100-set SVG bundle may be over but there are a few days left to shop the $1 SVG clearance sale. For those of you who are new to LD, you may be wondering what the difference is between the SVG-branded sets and the Cut Its:
Both the SVGs and the CUT ITs are cutting files that were made for the use with electronic cutters. The LD files that are branded as SVGs come with the cutting files only in the .svg format. You will need a software that can import SVGs to read these files.
On the other hand, the Cut Its were made for use with any cutting machine that can read any or all the following formats: .ai, .svg, .dxf, .gsd, .eps. Each Cut It file is very big because it includes the cutting files in all of these formats. That's why on the LD site, you will not have a Cut Its AND a SVG-branded version in the same collection because, the .svg format is already included in the Cut Its.
For more information about the different LD products and how to use them with your electronic cutters, please click HERE.
If you use SVG files with your cutting software and electronic cutter, be sure to shop the $1 sale before it ends on Tuesday, April 16. You can even use a coupon on top of it to bring the price down to as low as 75 cents a set! If you do not have a coupon, just get the current Friday Freebie and you'll find one in your email:
Click HERE or the image above to go to the LD site. Add the item to your cart and checkout. You pay $0! Upon completion of your "purchase", check your email confirmation.
