So many of you mentioned Squirrel It Away as your favorite LD set in Day 1 of my Giveaway that I just had to play with it.
The purse is ridiculously easy to put together. There are 2 layers to the file, one for the main purse body while the other is for the eyes of the squirrel. Since I had intended to use googly eyes, I didn't even cut out the 2nd layer.
4 short strips of tape was all that was needed to put the purse together. I could have left it as it is for a minimalist look but I went ahead and embellish it with a strip of Washi tape and some cutouts that I made with the co-ordinating Graphics set.
The treat box is so easy to make I think that even my kids could put it together. The LD F'all Sale is ending soon and the Squirrel It Away Cut Its Project set is a steal at the sale price of $2. This box alone is worth that. If you don't already have the set, CLICK HERE to get it.
Now, let's get on to Day 3 of my Giveaway:
I like to shop and even though Michaels, Jo-Ann, and Hobby Lobby are a short drive away, I buy a lot of my craft supplies online. I'm always looking for new places to get my shopping fix so to enter in today's giveaway, tell me
Where do you like to shop for your craft supplies?
You can mention any stores, online or otherwise. I don't mind. The rules are the same as what I have already posted on Monday, but in case you missed it, please CLICK HERE to read them.
In a nutshell, the rules are:
- Each comment counts as an entry.
- One entry per person but if you follow me on Facebook, you may put in an additional entry. Followers of this blog are also welcome to put an extra comment.
- A winner will be randomly picked to win a $10 gift certificate to the Lettering Delights store.
- The giveaway will end on Sunday, Oct 7 and the winners to this week's giveaways will be announced on Monday, Oct 8.
Good luck!

ReplyDeleteOnline for card stock and art supplies I often shop at Consumer Crafts, they have some great sales. For Jewelry findings and beads to put on cards, I like Rocky Mountain Beading. Oh my crafts gets a lot of my business, too, but their postage fees have gotten pretty exorbitant if you don't buy enough for the free shipping. For vinyl and heat transfer vinyl, I go crazy at Expressions Vinyl (and they are a really great bunch of people, too).

ReplyDeleteHummmm favorite Craft Shopping places, well Michael's is pretty good, then there is Jo Ann's, Craft Warehouse, and if I move on to
ReplyDeletethe online sites Amazon is always good or Ebay depending on what I am looking for, or the new site I found called Blitz, or one of several
steal sites, like Crafty Steals, Peachy Cheap, or Scrapbook steals. It is really hard to choose just one. I think I probably have ordered the most from Amazon. But I love the all!

ReplyDeleteHobby Lobby is always a good place to look for craft supplies. I love to go Craft shopping and am so blessed to
have a husband who will take me to every craft store in town if I want him to. I am partially disabled and it is
hard for me to do much shopping but I try to go to at least a couple of stores a week.

This is another tough question because it just depends on what I'm looking for. I love roaming the isles of JoAnn's and Michael's and hopefully soon, we'll have a Hobby Lobby. Online, Scrapbuck stands out for me. With all this said, I love spending time at Lettering Delights! There is sooooooo much and with the try me tool, I can see what fonts work for my projects before I buy. I love that. The inspiration is awesome too.
