How to make Frameable Wall Decor with Vinyl

Supplies:
Picture Frame
Vinyl (I use Oracal 631)
Patterned Paper (cut to fit picture frame)
Transfer Tape
Tweezer
Brayer (optional, not pictured)
Silhouette Cameo (or any other personal electronic die-cutting machine that can cut vinyl)

1. Prep the Silhouette Cameo to cut vinyl:
Set cutting blade to 1, Move roller to 12" position, Set to LOAD MEDIA.

2. Load Vinyl into the machine without the cutting mat.

3. Import SVG image into Silhouette Studio and size it to fit the picture frame.

4. Flip the image and send to Cut.

5. Unload vinyl from the cutter and weed off excess.

6. Remove glass from picture frame and clean with newspaper.

7. Remove cut image from backing paper and onto the transfer tape.

8. Place glass over the backing paper, using the latter as a guide for positioning the cut image.

9. Carefully place the cut image onto the glass and burnish with a craft stick or a brayer.

10. Return the glass onto the frame with the patterned paper.

and the project is completed! :-)

    1. I got my frames from Michaels, Debbie. They seem to have them on sale for 40% or 50% off quite frequently.
