Silhouette Studio Keyboard Shortcuts for PC and Mac


If you have ever watched any of my video tutorials, you may notice that I like to use the keyboard shortcuts. As I was not able to locate a list of the shortcuts from the Silhouette Studio User's Manual, I contacted Silhouette America to ask for one.     While not exactly 'fit to page', I use CMD-1 all the time to zoom fully out before zooming back in.

    Is there a shortcut for 'Drag Over a Shape to Zoom' (the crosshair magnifier icon)?

    hello,
    Are there any short cut keys to adjust brush sizes and opacity settings within the viewer window with out having to manually drag slider adjusters?

    Jin, do you have an updated listing for the Mac short cuts? With the release of the lasted update some of the ones on this list have changed according to Mac users in a group I am in.

      I have sent multiple requests to Silhouette America for an updated list and unfortunately, they don't have one available. If I managed to get one later, I will update this post. Sorry!

    Am unable to download the shortcuts as it is still a blank screen saying "downloading" for about 30 minutes. Is this correct? Pllease advise.

      Hi Dianne, I just tried and the link worked for me. You may want to try using a different browser. I used Firefox and was able to download the pdf file. http://cdn.silhouetteamerica.com/m/d/shortcuts_silhouette-studio.pdf

    Although this technically isn't a shortcut key combo (in the truest sense), I also like to use ALT+F, M, M - why? Because I like to open My Library without having to reach over and move my mouse (lazy, I know, right?). Here's the deal: I have a monthly subscription to the Sil store for files, and download a bunch every month. I have heard horror stories of people losing their library during updates, so I save my files from my library in my nested file system for all my Sil files - those I've created, those shared with me, and my library files. I add "SilAmLib" to the end of the file name so that I know they are not commercial use (unless I purchased that license for that file).
