Here finally.

Mommy Time started off well on Tuesday. I had my afternoon all planned out and I was going to cut some treat boxes from a new LD set. As soon as I got home from sending my baby to Kindergarten, I flipped open the laptop and started Make-the-Cut. As I looked in the folder for the Cut It file, my mind wandered and I couldn't help checking the UPS site again.

"It's supposed to come today!", I thought to myself.

I became less excited when I saw that the package is still listed as "On Schedule" with no further details. I pouted. I would rather see "Out for Delivery" than "On Schedule" but then again, that's still better than "Exception".

I tried to turn my attention back to Make-the-Cut. I imported the treat bag onto the virtual mat and reached out for my cardstock. I see 3 shades of orange but the one that I'm looking for is not there. I had forgotten that I had already used that on a different project.

"Crap!"

I minimized the MTC screen and refreshed the UPS page. No new info. The page looked exactly the same as 2 minutes ago. I sighed and closed the laptop. It's no use trying to craft when my mind is on a brown truck that is hopefully headed my way. I looked out the window. No truck. :-(  I started to clean my desk.....

..........................3 hours later.........................................

The girls are finishing up their snacks and we're about to leave for piano lessons. It's almost 5 pm. I yelled for the girls to get in the car but not before checking the front door just one more time. Perhaps my box had somehow gotten there without me hearing the brown truck?

No box. :-(

I got in the car and left.

................................1.5 hours later..................................

It's here! It took all day to get here but IT'S HERE!!! I'm going to rip the box open right now and set it up and take a ton of pictures and cut and .....

"Mom! Can we eat now? I'm H U N G R Y!"

:-(

Darn it, it's dinner time.

*Sigh*

Guess I'm going to have to wait until Mommy Time, Wednesday.

  7. But does it work with MTC? That is what I want to know. I LOVE MTC, and that is the most important factor for me with a new machine.
