Jin's Easy Die-Cut Cards { Jin's 15mins cards}

After reading The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing by Marie Kondo, I was inspired to do some cleaning up of my own. My success in decluttering my wardrobe gave me the confidence to go on and organize the other parts of my house. When I finished tidying up my collection of purses and realized that I could Goodwill several of them without shedding a tear, I decided that it was time to declutter the craft room. Dun Dun Dun!

It started off well - I finished sorting my cardstock and paper scraps quickly. I even managed to give away the lot of patterned papers and miscellaneous embellishments that did not "spark joy", and I would never use. I was pleased that the craft room re-organizing exercise was going along pretty well.

And then I found my Sizzix Big Shot.

I *heart* my Big Shot! It's Hello Kitty pink! How not to love?! Once I took it out of the dark corner, I knew it would be futile to resist it. I. Must. Turn. That. Roller.

Well, that was a few weeks ago. To cut a long story short, let's just say that since then, I had turned that handle quite a few times. It is so fun to get reacquainted with my Hello Kitty Big Shot! For some reason, my craft room looks even more cluttered now but hey, I have a new stack of handmade cards to add to my stash so I'd say, the re-org exercise is a success. Sort of.

Heh.

Here are the cards that I recently made with my Hello Kitty Big Shot. Each took about 15 minutes or less to make. I will not go into the details since these are so easy to make but I have listed the source of the supplies under each photo. You can also use the card ideas with SVGs. I started collecting the Kodomo no Kao stamps several years ago. Most were bought from Kinokuniya- Seattle, or Japan Town, San Francisco. One of the panda stamps in my collection was given to me by my friend, Ivy. You can also find Kodomo no Kao stamps on Etsy.

This card was made with a image that I had previously colored and cut out. Both the speech bubble metal die and the "Hello" stamp are by Mama Elephant.
