Jin's DIY Dollies Stationery Set

I've not been posting much on the blog all summer because I've been spending most of my time ferrying the kids to their camps and various activities. Even though I've made a few cards here and there, I have not published them as I am simply too busy with the things to do around the house. I try to post snippets of my projects-in-progress on Facebook with the full intention of posting to the blog later but "later" has yet to come. Then last Friday LD decided to dig into their archives and put hundreds, if not thousands, of their graphics in a clearance sale.

For 50-cents a set.

I freaked out even more when I found out that with a coupon**, each set can be had for as low as 25-cents! Are you kiddin' me? That's one quarter! I can't even mail a card with a quarter! All that "I-must-spend-all-summer-with-the-kids-and-do-housework" resolution went out the window as soon as I saw the Dollies set. It's too adorable!

At first, I thought it wouldn't hurt to make an ultra-easy notecard while the kids have a short tv break. After all, it'll only take a few minutes to print an image and trim that cardstock down to a card. One "quick project" led to another and before I know it, stickers, notecards, and letters were all over my desk and I was begging Hubby to deal with dinner. Oops!

The LD Clearance Sale is happening now and I don't know when it'll end. If you want ridiculously cute graphics, alphabets, and fonts at dirt cheap prices, click HERE to shop now. There are tons of files included and you'll need some time to sift through them all so you don't miss out on some of the really good ones. However, be warned- if you happen upon the great ones like the Dollies, you will get so inspired by the cuteness, you just may find yourself losing control and craft like there's no tomorrow.

** Use the code TreatYourself to take 50% off a purchase of $15 or more. If you buy 30 sets of clearanced files and use the coupon, you'll pay only $7.50 for all of them or only 25-cents each!

  1. These are adorable! Thanks for sharing. On the right side of your blog, there is an ad from Amazon for a King Jim masking tape printer to make washi tape labels. Have you ever heard of this? Looks interesting... -Jamie

    1. I know a few folks who bought and love it. I don't have it yet but I really want one! It's super cute! As far as I know, you have to use that brand of washi tape with the printer for it to work. Here's a video that I found that shows how small (and cute!) it is: Coharu Masking Tape Printer.
