I'll be keeping an eye on you

It's the season for making goodie bags! I make treat bags for my kids' classmates every Halloween and this year will not be any different. I usually include all kinds of candies (of course!) and stuff that they can use, like pencils, erasers and stickers. Ever since I bought my button maker, I have been adding buttons to the treat bags too.(Click HERE to read about my button maker if you had missed that post.).

pin-back buttons

LD's circular-shaped graphics are the best images to use with my 1" button template (you can find the free template download HERE ) so I was thrilled when I saw their Monster Eyes. Even though the set includes 10 different designs, I picked only 1 graphic to make the buttons. I've learned from past button-giveaways that making too many different-looking buttons may not necessarily be a good thing. ("I like the design on your button better. Gimme!" Oy!)

I also thought it would be fun to attach each button to a card so I used print-and-cut to make some.

Each card is the size of a credit card and I designed it so that the 1" button fit nicely on it.

If you do not have a button maker, you can use the Monster Eyes as suggested on the LD page. Just cut them out and stick them on the bottom of a candy (Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or Hershey's Kisses work great!). Either way, the kids will get a kick out of these monster eyes.
