Thanksgiving cupcake toppers and card

There's something about that Kawaii Kalendar Turkey that makes me want to use it for everything Thanksgiving. It is very cute and I could certainly use it for more than just one card. So I made what I know my baker friend, Judy, would find useful. I made her Thanksgiving cupcake toppers!

Using Silhouette Studio Designer Edition, I designed the toppers in 2 styles and print-and-cut them out with my Cameo.

The toppers were finished in a jiffy so I made a card to go with it.

Once again I used Silhouette Studio Designer Edition to print-and-cut the card front. The card base was also printed but I cut that out with my paper trimmer. The turkey was cut on different colored cardstock and pieced together with glue and foam tape.

Both the cupcake toppers and the card came together fairly quickly although it took me a while to decide if I should use googly eyes. Thanks go out to the folks on Facebook who helped me with the decision. I realize that some of you prefer the original look of turkey but personally I feel that adding those googly eyes make the birds more lively and interesting to look at.
