I only have eyes for ewe

While taking a break from assembling 60 birthday treat bags for the twins' classmates the other day, I sat down to play with the LD Sneak Peek of the Month, the Sheep Shape Year.

Using Silhouette Studio (Designer Edition), I prepared an A2 size card base and cut out the layers for a sheep.

The colors of the pre-assembled cuts sure look more like the layers for a grenade than a sheep (haha!) but there's really a sheep under all that pieces of paper.

See? It's a sweet little sheep! And she's perfect for a Valentine card too. I printed the card base and trimmed it with my paper trimmer. The sheep was adhered onto the card with foam tape for added dimension.

Valentine's Day is less than a week away but I have a few more Valentine cards to share. Check back here later and I'll show what else I made with this sheep. I have a feeling that Ewe are going to like it.

  1. You're right, those cuts do look like a grenade! This card is too cute! I like how you put the white behind the cut out, great idea!
