Amanda's Thoughtful Project Thursdays

Since the elections, pot. *cough cough** CHOCOLATE brownies have been on my mind. When my friend, Amanda of Amanda's Crafts and More asked me to guest post for her Thoughtful Project Thursdays, it was inevitable that I had to feature a a project that involves a chocolate brownie. Oh, and that I had just bought a 6-batch box (7.5lb!) of Ghiradelli Brownie Mix from Costco. Only $9.99! Goodbye diet!

I've long wanted to make something with LD's Merci Bear Coup but I always thought I'd use it to decorate a bag of macarons. Since I only have chocolate brownies on hand, I guess brownies will have to do. :-)

And so today's Thoughtful Project is a chocolate brownie in an LD treat box. I used the 4th file in the Treat Box SVG set and if you think that it looks familiar, you'd probably have seen it in my LD Boxes post HERE. I really love how easy it is to put this box together. Come to think of it, there isn't much to assemble at all. Just cut out the template and "wrap" the brownie in it. No glue, no tape, no fuss. My favorite kind of box. :D

The treat box looks unfinished without a tag so I made one quickly using the LD Buttercream font and the bear from the Merci Bear Coup graphics set. Add two ovals and a print-and-cut later and my tags are done! I attached them to the boxes and I am ready to give these treats away.

I hope that you've enjoyed my treat box for Amanda's Thoughtful Project Thursday.  My thanks go out to Amanda for inviting me to participate. This has a been fun distraction for me as I have been so busy with my home. Thanks, Amanda! :-)
