If you have not tried out my recent Make-Your-Own Stickers tutorial, LD's Friday freebie is a good reason to practice print-and-cut with your Silhouette cutter.
First, click HERE or the image above to go to the LD site to get your freebie. Just add it to your cart and check out. You will pay $0. Once the "transaction" is completed, just download and unzip the file.
You can use the free Silhouette Studio program to open the JPG file. I used the eraser tool to "delete" the page header and traced the colored labels at a threshold of 92 to get the cut lines. By using "Release Compound Path" and deleting the extra cut lines on the inside of some of the images, I managed to get a nice page of labels with their traced lines.
Like my Make-Your-Own Stickers, I used the Staples brand of sticker paper and cut with my Cameo at the following settings of:
Blade: 1
Speed: 10
Thickness: 18
Media: Print Paper
The labels are beautifully cut out while the backing paper is left uncut.

While you are at the LD site, don't forget to check out the new Little Teacups Collection by Sheri McCulley. I am in love with the colors!
Also, the A-Z is My Cup of Tea bundle is one sweet deal. Regularly priced at $104, the bundle of 26 sets of graphics, fonts, alphabets, and clipart is now only $12. If that is not crazy enough, you can even use the coupon code Moreon24 to take 25% off a purchase of $24 or more!
Here's one more freebie before I end this post:
ScrapNfonts is the sister site of Lettering Delights and they are giving away the Sticky Note Monthly Goals file for free. This freebie comes in the form of a PDF file and you can get it from their blog by clicking HERE.
Enjoy and Have a great weekend everyone!
