Nothing makes me more proud of my work than to know that it has inspired others to create their own. Today I am sharing with you projects that some of my readers has emailed to me or posted on my Facebook wall.
Here are the projects listed in no particular order of preference:
1.
Yvette sent me these photos just after Christmas. I couldn't stop smiling after I have read her email. Her tags are so cute! These adorable tags were inspired by my Hair Clippies card and Gift Tag tutorial. She made them to match the gift- a Harajuku Lovers jacket and bag.
2.
Shaped cards are my favorite things to make with my electronic cutters. After seeing my "Joy" card, Patty put together her own by making it into a shaped-card. She even managed to hand-deliver it to her mom in time for Christmas! You can check out Patty's story on her Crafty Kitten blog HERE.
3.
Ivy Toh sent this picture to me a couple of months ago but I didn't have an opportunity to share it here until now. She made this AWESOME Teacher's Day gift for her kid's pre-school teacher last year after reading this post. I love how she inked the edges of every flower to add depth to her project. Your work is beautiful, Ivy! Your kid's pre-school teacher sure is lucky to receive such a precious gift.
4.
Kim made some tags after seeing my Gift Tag tutorial and I just love how she put her own spin on it. Instead of making a frame for the label, she left it blank so that she can use her stamps to make a border! So clever! Kim made her tags using Make-the-Cut and the eCraft. You can read all about her project on her Crafty Pink Anchor blog by clicking on THIS LINK.
5.
I was so tickled when I saw Pan-Dee ( Hi Pan-Dee! :-) ) in Jessica George's photo. Not only do I love her take on the Kyoto Kuties, I thought it was brilliant to personalize the dolls by adding names on the fans! My kids kept fighting over their Kyoto Kuties! I am so going to write their names on the fans. Great work, Jessica!
Hint: If you are new to this blog and have not downloaded your Kyoto Kuties, you can still find the link to the freebie in THIS POST.
6.
I have been looking forward to seeing Becki's cowlendar after she mentioned that she was making one. Becki always do such nice work and once again she did not disappoint! While I made my cowlendar with Silhouette Studio, Becki made hers with Make-the-Cut. You can read about how she made this fabulous calendar on her blog HERE.
