and she's off to Kindergarten! |
Summer break is officially over for us. Today is the first day of school and I have two 3rd Graders and 1 Kindergartener! The past week has gone by fast and we tried our best to make the most out of the last few days of the school break. I do not have any new projects to share with you this week but that does not mean that I have not been cutting. In fact I'm going to show you a sneak peek of a new LD set later. For now, let me share an article with you that I came across the other day. The writer had put into words how I feel about my kids heading back to school and it is strangely comforting to know that I am not the only one who feels this way.

I understand completely. I have 5 children and just had to drop 2 of them off at college. We took two cars and I cried as I watched them start out and cried when we left them in their new town. I still have 3 at home, thankfully, but I know first hand how fast time has flown. Make them their favorite treat when they get home for me! Thank you for sharing your pictures.
ReplyDeleteCute pictures. School has been delayed for a few days because of Hurricane Irene's impact. My 1st grader starts tomorrow and my pre-schooler on Friday. They can't wait.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, but at least they have all of their adult teeth:)But your girls will always be around you, even as adults! hugs funny girl:)
ReplyDeletethey are just adorable!
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks for sharing, Jin. Your kids are sweet.
ReplyDeleteHi Jin,
ReplyDeleteI found your site about 2 months ago and i am so inspired by you. I find myself reading your post everyday. I am super excited to see that your girls are wearing some of the clothes i designed for gymbo girls for their first day of school. They are so adorable!! I hope your little one is not nervous about school anymore.
