Some of you may know that my friend Thienly, of Mod Paperie, visited Seattle with her family last week. The first place that I wanted to bring her was my favorite rubber stamp store, Impress.
There are 3 Impress store locations in Washington State but my favorite is the one at Tukwilla. It is about a 40 mins drive from my home but I try to find every excuse I can get to go there. This time, not only did I have Thienly's visit as my big excuse to visit the store, the Impress' Holiday Event was in itself, a wonderful reason to be there.
I tell Hubby that I like to go to Impress "because it impresses me" (haha!) every time I go there. Just look at all these cards that they have on display at the store. They are pretty impressive, don't you think. (Sorry, I couldn't help it. I'll stop with the corniness now. :-P )
Love how "JOY" is stamped in a different color and over the tree. |
"fleece Navidad"! Haha! |
I LOVE this card! |
Make a tree stand out from the rest by making it 3D. |
There's a bell on Rudolph! and I love how the ornaments are stamped and "strung" up. |
I've always enjoyed going to the Impress store. Their cards always inspire me and some, like the ones below, just crack me up.
Impress is a rubber stamper's paradise. They sell stamps, and papers and inkpads and they have the coolest embellishments. I buy the neatest brads from them but I do love these honeycomb papers that they carry. All you have to do is cut and open it up and you'll find a fancy new embellishment for your project.
I love these divine twine too. I must have these in every color!
If you want to see even more pictures of the Holiday event, just click here to check out the photos from the Impress "Christmas in July" album on Facebook.
If you are in the Seattle area, you must visit Impress. If you are not in the Seattle area, you can still get your stamping goodies from the Impress online store. Even better, Impress has just started their web sale on Thursday and you can use the coupon code "summer sale" for 15% off everything.
Also, and only for the readers of this blog, Impress is offering a really awesome giveaway. One of you will win......
