Right now for a tablet I'm using an iPad, but my heart belongs to Microsoft - to be able to have a tablet that runs Windows, and to be able to use it with SSDE - is my idea of pure bliss.♥MizSusan♥https://www.blogger.com/profile/01897457459840244629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1848027591545577710.post-91774487109916447382012-12-27T13:26:10.972-08:002012-12-27T13:26:10.972-08:00Thank You for the nice Christmas and New Year gree...Thank You for the nice Christmas and New Year greetings and wishes! The Surface Pro comes with one usb port. If you intend to print-and-cut, you may want to consider getting a usb hub so that you can connect your printer and the cutter to the tablet. That will be a lot more convenient than to have the printer/cutter share the usb port (plug in cable/plug out cable). Also, the Surface PRO comes with a hi-resolution screen and while I expect SSDE to work, I don't know how well it would do so. One more thing, you should also get a touch/type cover with your Surface PRO because you would need the mouse/track pad to use SSDE.Jin Yonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18134993983317919588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1848027591545577710.post-30346793880023047862012-12-27T01:32:53.040-08:002012-12-27T01:32:53.040-08:00Thank you. :)Thank you. :)Jin Yonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18134993983317919588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1848027591545577710.post-6334520289502556982012-12-26T09:54:38.506-08:002012-12-26T09:54:38.506-08:00Hi Jin, I don't know how else to contact you,...Hi Jin, I don't know how else to contact you, so here goes... You mentioned the Surface Pro a while back, and I have a question about it. Do you have any idea if it will be able to run SSDE? The pre release information that I've been able to find says it will run Windows 7 applications. I told my husband I didn't want a big Christmas gift this year, because I wanted to save fore a Surface Pro - now I'm so hoping it will work. Thank you for any help.
