I have a video tutorial here . Could I take the SVG files into InkScape, change the format to GSD or DXT, then move it over to Silhouette?!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14839295920763679436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1848027591545577710.post-39803608069697893612013-02-22T23:18:02.477-08:002013-02-22T23:18:02.477-08:00Hey Jennifer, I used the SVG version and they work...Hey Jennifer, I used the SVG version and they worked fine but then again I am using Silhouette Studio Designer Edition and you do need that to open SVGs (if you are using the Silhouette cutter). I just took a look at the files for you and I don't think that the layers for the dxf and gsd are supposed to look the same. I've forwarded your comment to LD but it is the weekend and I don't expect a response until Monday. Will let you know if I get a reply or if you like, you can report the issue to them at support@letteringdelights.comJin Yonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18134993983317919588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1848027591545577710.post-77920944086326350042013-02-22T18:09:47.902-08:002013-02-22T18:09:47.902-08:00My download doesnt look anything like the layers s...My download doesnt look anything like the layers shown on the PDF file that comes with the downloadAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14839295920763679436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1848027591545577710.post-46176466326037697582013-02-22T18:02:38.190-08:002013-02-22T18:02:38.190-08:00Were all of your layers the same? I know I can ungroup the image to get each layer, but that becomes a huge pain with the sprinkles and other small objects. Any suggestions?! I assembled the outer "holder" first, and separately put together all the other layers. When the "cupcake" is assembled, I adhere it to the holder with glue or tape. Hope that helps!Jin Yonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18134993983317919588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1848027591545577710.post-39627305978479221372013-02-08T14:59:44.557-08:002013-02-08T14:59:44.557-08:00Hi Jin, I really love these crates and bought the ...Hi Jin, I really love these crates and bought the design to make for the kids at church this weekend. My question is I have them downloaded into my SDE software all ready to cut, but I need help with assembly instructions. I'd like to know what gets folded where before cutting so I can make perforated lines. Any help would be much appreciated! (If this is not the right place to ask, I will contact LD for support :)) Thanks for all you to do help us! Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08367010203650278363noreply@blogger.com
