  1. The new site is going to take some getting used to. My wish list is gone (probably due to the change in the way product is arranged now) and the product is now broken up into individual parts, as well as large bundles. Don't know how I feel about that, there were a lot of bundles that I bought bc they were a good deal and I didn't need/want the other parts, but later found out I liked the paper packs or whatever I thought I didn't like. You Own It is no longer available, and I own so many files I'm not sure I'll know which ones are already purchased. Have to think about that a bit. I do like that the "related products" are easier to see now. I think overall, it's going to be good, just have to get used to it.

    1. I'm trying to get used to it too. It's nice but so different from the old site!

  2. I visited the new site tonight and I don't really care much for it at all. First - and this may be a temporary thing - the site was S-L-O-W when I was there tonight, maybe just a lot of curious people and it will improve. Second - and this is my biggest disappointment and frankly enough to make me extremely leery of future purchases - is that the items I have already purchased are no longer flagged as "you own it". Instead - I have to check my own library to see what I already own. Honestly that is just too much of a PITA for me. Finally - the "whats new" feature is gone. I used that a lot to just look at what was new on the site. I hope that they can take steps to make this new site at least as functional as the old one. But in the meantime I will be a browser and not a buyer.

    1. LD is working on improving lots of things on their site, including the "You Own It" feature. I use and miss that feature a lot!

  3. Here are my suggestions of changes LD needs to make: 1) Put back "I own it" on each set I already purchased. 2) Have the clock for points start up again at midnight. I needed to go to work earlier today than yesterday, and was unable to make my download as the clock said points were not available for another 30 minutes. 3) Ability to zoom the image of the cut set. Other than that, I like how everything looks!

    1. Update: after waiting 30 minutes to download today's files from my cuttable subscription, it said I had "0" points and had to wait until tomorrow. Clearly the "ticking clock" needs fixing! I think it would be great if they had a page on the website which let us leave suggestions of items needing to be fixed. Then we could know that they already are aware of the problem, and we could be patient to wait for the fix instead of getting frustrated!

    2. Update II, I just looked at the facebook page. Many people have problems with the ticking clock.

    3. Update III, I was able to download my 2 subscription files for the day. Phew! Let's all chill out and give them a break. We can wait and give them time to fix things before getting so upset! (Save your anger for the Silhouette folks instead!) I do hope they will figure out the "I own it" as I just looked and was shocked to see I own close to 400 sets! (Yikes!!!!) Hoping they will have great sorting options, as well.

    4. Thank you for all the info! LD is working hard to fix all the glitches as fast as they can. I've already sent them a mini-list of issues about their new site but I find myself adding to that list everyday. >_<

  4. Same problems as above, plus please add back "whats new". Also, I dislike the 'european' dating system, with the day THEN month then year, rather than month-day-year. Very confusing, as that's not how americans do it and this is an american company. I only noticed it changed because there IS no month '22'.

  5. Oh, and, if they don't return 'you own it', I will probably stop shopping there. I own so many items, I am NOT going to search through them to figure out if I already have it or not. I have to do that on snap click and I STILL repurchase things I already own, even though I am as careful as I can be. I hardly buy anything there anymore, as its such a hassle.

  6. So on their site, they address the "you own it", Better searching through your own previously purchased product (downloads) coming soon.

Many of you have asked about the loss of your wishlist, that is coming and should be available by Monday.

I think we just need to be patient, LD has always been good to work with and I can't imagine they are not updating as they are able. For those who don't get the newsletter:

  7. Woo hoo for LD and those who bought the subscription! It'll take some getting used to and I hope (fingers crossed) that "You own it" and my "Wish list" will one day be restored. I have SO many sets....not sure what I will do if the "You own it" is not restored...yikes!

As always, thanks Jin for the update.
