Coming soon from Silhouette?

So Silhouette released their ver2.9.45 update yesterday.  I usually wait a couple of weeks before installing their updates (to give them time to iron out the bugs) but I was curious so I installed it on my Surface Pro. Oh, lookie what I found - new cut settings! Looks like Silhouette will be introducing their line of corrugated cardstock, stencil material, and Washi Paper to us soon. CHA just started and I wouldn't be surprised if they will be showing these off at the convention.

What do you think? Are you excited to see these materials added? I am super curious about the washi paper. Can't wait to see it.

  2. I am super super excited about the new product, especially the stencil stuff as I read your FB post on the stenciled mitten. It was super cute. I love stenciling and embossing but hate to drag out the other machines and are limited by what folders I have to emboss with. This will open up a whole 'nother line of product for LD as well!

    Go Silhouette!

  3. Does the update make Sil Software work better on your Surface Pro? I currently have to roll back my graphics driver every time I want to start the software. Hoping they've fixed whatever the problem is.

  4. Thank you so much for letting me know! I've been emailing them about some of my frustrations.. But disappointed, none of them were fixed yet :(

  5. I belong to a Facebook Silhouette group and there have been many many posts with complaints about different things going wrong with the software. On their update page, it did say it included some bug fixes but did not say what they fixed.
Many of them were also having problems with their blades either jamming or just not cutting properly. I recommended that any time there is a problem, no matter how small, let support know. Otherwise they would have no idea what they need to fix in the upcoming updates.
