Eat Ham

Are you ready for Thanksgiving? It's next week!

So anyway, I was going through my files when I found this turkey hidden in the Kawaii Kalendar set. I've used the bespectacled panda from that set many times before but for some reasons, I don't remember the turkey at all. The bird looks so cute I had to cut it out.

Using Silhouette Studio Designer Edition, I made a card base with graphics from the Kanshasai set. I print-and-cut the shaped card along with a banner from the Holiday Hugs Cut Its. I modified the banner to say "Eat Ham". The turkey was cut from various colored cardstock and put together with glue and foam tape.

Putting the turkey together took a bit of time as there are a lot of layers but it was totally worth it- the bird is too cute! It's a good thing that the turkeys in real life are not as adorable. I'm pretty sure that if they were this cute, they would all be spared and we would end up having ham for Thanksgiving!

  5. Very cute! How do you make the shape card like that - with a rectangle base, and the partial turkey shape on the top? Any tutorials on that?
