Urban Craft Uprising 2013

How was everyone's weekend? Hope you had a good one. It was sunny and beautiful over here in Seattle and instead of starting this week with another one of my LD/Cameo post, how about I give you a peek at the Seattle craft scene? I was at the Urban Craft Uprising fair on Saturday and I have some pictures to share with y'all.

I found out about the Urban Craft Uprising fair on Facebook. As the weather was nice plus the fair has a decent rating on Yelp, we thought that we would check it out.

One of the booths that caught my eye was Genevieve Santos' le petit elefant. She makes the cutest greeting cards! Here, take a look and see how adorable they are:

You can find Genevieve's site HERE but be warned, there are a lot of things to see. You may want to grab a cup of tea or coffee while you browse through her page as you may not want to leave it after you get there. :)

Another booth that I loved the moment I saw it was Kelice's Careful It Bites. Kelice Penney makes and sells these plush Yeti heads...

... and Dust Bunnies.

She also makes cats! Here is Kelice with one of them. You can find Kelice and her creatures HERE.

The fair had gotten quite busy by the time I arrived at Mandolin Brassaw's booth. I had caught sight of this print....

...and when I looked behind it, found her origami cards.

Here is Mandolin with her Origami Yoda. :)

You can find Mandolin and her letterpress works on her Paper Boat Studios site.

Have you ever seen jigsaw puzzles the size of a postage stamp? Not only are the Postage Puzzles the size of one,  they are actually made of real postage stamps! They are so tiny and so amazing!

Look! We even found a panda one. Super cute!

Want to see more of these puzzles? You can find the Scroll Wood Shop at their etsy site HERE.

Hope that you enjoyed this little trip to the craft fair. We'll get back to regular programming tomorrow where I'll show you what is probably the smallest thing that I've cut yet with my Cameo.

See you later!

  2. Jin, this is Christine from Scroll Wood Shop. Your projects are so cute! And, as you can guess, we at Scroll Wood Shop love tiny, precisely-cut things :)

Thanks so much for visiting us at the show! I love your photos of our tiny puzzles. So tiny, I still can't get over Clif's ability to cut them that small.
