Video Tutorial: How to print-and-cut Treat Bags using printable paper and with Silhouette Studio

Surprise! I have another video tutorial for you! This time I will show you how you can use the LD printable papers to make your own customized treat bags.

At the end of the video tutorial, I showed you how to make the banner with Silhouette Studio. This is how it looks like when cut and assembled:

All three treat bags shown below were made using the Hunny Bunnies Graphic Set and Paper Pack. I love the colors and the designs of this collection. So perfect for the Spring and Easter!

I cut out all the decorative elements using the same print-and-cut method shown in the video.

Video Tutorial: How to print-and-cut Mini Notecards with Silhouette Studio

Yay! I have a new video tutorial for you! This time I will show you how you can use the print-and-cut feature of your Silhouette Studio program to make these uber-cute mini notecards. I like to put these cards into my kids' lunchboxes as a surprise but my kids also love them for writing little notes for their friends or even as their own "namecards".

Once you are ready to print-and-cut the cards out, just click on the "Send to Silhouette" button and follow the instructions on the screen to print the page out and cut with the Cameo (or SD).

These are the same notecards that were shown in tutorial. This is how they look like when they are all cut out.

I used the new Nancy Kubo Hunny Bunnies Graphic Set and Hunny Bunnies Background Paper Pack to make these notecards.

I am not including the written instructions for this tutorial because the steps are fairly straightforward. There are just a lot of Group/Ungroup and Align here and there.

If you enjoyed and learned something from this tutorial, please click LIKE on the button below so I will know if I should make more of such tutorials. Also, if you have any feedback or questions regarding this tutorial, please comment below. I will use your feedback when I plan for my future tutorials.

One more thing, if you use this tutorial to make your own notecards, please let me know. You can email me (jin@underacherrytree.com) or post your picture on my Facebook wall. I would love to see what you made.

Happy Cutting!

Friday Freebie, Eggstravaganza, Sneak Peek, and more!

"What's going on, Jin?! No posts for two days?!"

Nah, I'm not on vacation. In fact, there is so much going on I'm dizzy. Being a mom is my primary "occupation" and it never fails that the weeks leading up to Easter tend to be some of the busiest. School variety show, Chinese mid-term exams, spring cleaning (why does the house look even more messy now?), planning and researching for the kids' Summer activities, etc. There's so much to do I wish I'm on vacation!

I'm not the only one who is swamped. The folks at Lettering Delights are also super busy! They have so many good stuff coming our way in the next two weeks, my head spins when I think about it. The LD Easter Egg-stravaganza will bring new designs, deals, and freebies everyday for the next 15 days! Too fun!!

To kick it off, LD has released a new collection by Sheri McCulley. The Sweet Peeps Print-and-Cut Bundle is designed for print-and-cut. If you are not sure how you can use them with Make-the-Cut or the Silhouette Studio programs, just go to this page and scroll down to tutorial #38 or #39. Click HERE to check out the new Sweet Peeps Collection.

On a separate note, the Mad for Cards Super Bundle offer has been extended. You can still get the 300-set (280 printable cards, plus 20 graphic sets) for $39 (reg, $600!) until next Tuesday. Even better, LD is now offering a DVD option (with additional $7.95 shipping charge) for those of you who do not want to make the downloads yourself. You can get the DVD here. If you are not sure how to use the Mad for Cards Super Bundle, just click here for a tutorial.

And while you're at the LD site, don't forget to pick up today's freebie. It's a super cute Easter Gift Bag.

Well, it's almost time to get the kids ready for the school variety show. The twins are showing off their piano skills. :-D I have to go but not before I leave you with this sneek peek of a new collection that is coming to LD really really soon.

Have a great weekend, everyone!
