Happy Valentine's Day, Friend!

Today's Joy's Life Design Team project is a card for the friend who is tired of PINK (the color, not the recording artiste). I used very little pink in this card! The main flower image is from Lettering Delights' Yours Truly SVG set. I used Make-the-Cut to cut the flower out with my Cricut at an approximate size of 3.2" x 3.1" so that Joy's stamp will fit in the center perfectly. I masked the center of Joy's " Hi Friend" stamp from the All Around Sentiments set and stamped on the center of the flower. The ribbon stem was adhered to the card with red-lined tape and to complete the card, I used Lettering Delights' LD Cursive font to print out the "Happy Valentine's Day" greeting.

  5. I, too, like your card. The "ribbon stem" -- is it something you purchased, ready made, or something that you created?

  6. Thanks, everyone. :-) The ribbon was bought from my local stamp store but if you do a google search on "leaf ribbon", you can find a lot of places online that sells it. :-)
