Are you Circled?

Today I received an email invitation:

Say that again. What's this?

Tell me more.

So why me?

Okay...apparently I am a top 3% of over-spenders? I don't think The Hub is going to be too pleased to know that I have been giving his hard-earned $$ away for Cricut stuff. Yikes!

So how much does it really cost to be Circled?

Excuse me while  I clean up the coffee I just spewed all over my keyboard.

  1. HA HA HA! Yeah, I almost spit my coke on my monitor when I read that too. Apparently you are not the only one who needs to make some confessions to the "hub." It's going to take a bit for me to make that kind of commitment. Sheesh thats a lot of $$$. The exclusive carts are killing me. But if I got the make the cut program I'd not need those exclusives, right?! Come on, be a friend, talk me out of this. :)

  2. No. Don't do it! I didn't even spend that much on my Expression machine. I am not going to pay that much $ and not know what kind of carts I will be getting. I know that they say the first cart will be French Manor but what about the other three? What kind of carts are those? There is no information on what cuts will be on it. What if it turns out to be a dud like Jubilee? Also, it is not clear if the members have to pay extra for them or if they are included with the paid membership. Besides, I have Make-the-Cut which I can use to trace and cut more images than I can imagine. $275 can buy you a lot of carts. A lot more than 4 if you think about the average price of a cart on eBay or on the popular online stores.

I'll pass and you should too, just2ducky! :P

So, am I friend enough? ;)

  3. Wow! They must really want our money! I got the same invite and at first I was excited to think I had gotten this special invite. The feel good went away as soon as I saw the price to be invited. No thank you! I'd rather spend the money on cartridges that I have had a chance to look at and decide if I really need it.

  12. I also received an invite, and thought since I am such a big spender why not reward me by giving me free membership, not taking an even bigger chunk of my hubby's money ( I use his money for cartridges, not my money, lol). Yeah I dont think Im missing anything.
